[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]Sculpture is a type of art that says very much about very little. In comparison to painting, the range of genre that sculpture covers is a lot narrower, yet its language is much more expressive.<\/p>\n

Whereas painting often imitates three-dimensional shapes in an imitated space, sculpture creates three-dimensional shapes, altering the existing space.<\/p>\n

Sculpture can be observed visually. It can also be perceived by touch \u2013 the feel of its shapes, its texture, the warmth or cold of the material.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]I mostly work in the genre of figurative sculpture. But in my sculpture the human body is not an object of worship or admiration. I mercilessly transform and deform it, using it as an instrument, as a means of expressing my thoughts, feelings, and my aesthetic point of view. Through the tension of shapes, I create an energetically charged object.<\/p>\n

The observer can sense the energy, the tension and harmony of forms. And only after sensing this, will he want to understand what he is seeing, and to ask the question, \u201cWhat was the creator trying to say?\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=””]But be aware, that after the sculpture has been created, it takes on a life of its own, and its only connection with its creator is its origin. After a certain time passes, I look at my works and see things that I haven\u2019t seen before and that I never put into them during the process of creation.<\/p>\n
